In one of the most

Malaysia today officially introduced its new revolutionary pick-up
truck, the Triton. This new pick-up truck by Mitsubishi Motors is set to create a new trend in Malaysia with the bold ruggedness of a powerful engine combined with a sleek, stylish and comfortable body. To create the new Mitsubishi Triton, extensive tests were conducted to collect data both in the engineering labs at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and on the courses of the gruelling Dakar Rally. This has resulted in new innovations like flowing bodylines which is associated with the Dakar Rally-winning Pajero Evolution. Other customer-winning features include a new aerodynamic body and a Dakar Rally-honed four-wheel drive system that delivers outstanding all-surface performance. The newly developed Di-D Hyper Common Rail Turbo Intercooler EngineThe Mitsubishi Triton is powered by a newly-developed Direct Injection Diesel Hyper Common Rail Turbo Intercooler engine, which delivers ample torque at low speeds while greatly reducing emissions through efficient fuel injection. The new 2.5-litre Direct Injection Diesel Hyper Common Rail Turbo Intercooler engine provides top-class power of 136PS at 3,500rpm and top-class torque of 314Nm at 2,000rpm |
