| Canopy Walk
and Bukit Teresek
The Canopy walkway which is built on the top layer of vegetation in the forest, is 450 m long and started from a height of 20 m. This walkway is stretched from one tree to another without the use of nails, bolts and nuts. The knots used in the constructing the walkway can withstand loads of close to 20 tons. One of only five in the world, it enables research work on plants, insects and birds to be carried out more effectively. It also offers the visitors a rare opportunity to experience an adventure on the wild side and get a closer look at life at the top of the world's oldest tropical rainforest.
Teresek Hill Climb One can enjoy a panoramic view of Gunung Tahan the highest mountain in Peninsula Malaysia, the forest canopy covering the hills and verdant valley, at the hilltop. The 334 meters hill can be reached within 45 minutes. The sunrise scenery from the hill top is spectacular and popular with photographers. For that you must reach the hilltop before 6.30 am.
