Day 01 Depart for Kuala Lumpur at 0900 hours for Bekok town. Stop for lunch at Bekok Town at own expense. After registration at the Part Headquarters, continue journey through logging trek by four wheel drive and van depending on the number of people, to Lubok Tapah Base camp or Merekek Campsite..
On arrival, check in and after a short rest, get ready for the first adventure in Endau Rompin. After a short briefing, we will begin our journey to Takah Pandan. The falls is more than 100 feet high over a vertical rock wall. We will return to based camp after having a good rest as the trek back is much easier as we will follow the river back to main trek leading to the base camp.
Rest and dinner Next activity will be a night walk provided there is no rain and along the 4 wheel drive trek. Lookout for foxes, porcupines, wild cats, mouse deer, snakes etc.
Day 02 After breakfast, briefing and begin trekking to Takah Tinggi more than 500 feet span from the lake below to the top of the waterfalls. Most of the way will be undulating low hills along the river side except for the last 10 minutes where it will be a short hill climb. The guides (one of them will be an aborigine) will identify and explain the use of certain herbs and plants. Much of the medicinal cure for ailments for the aborigine are from the roots of plants. Packed lunch is provided. After lunch, begin decent to base camp. After dinner, free at own leisure The journey will normally take 4 hours for a return trip.
Day 03 After breakfast, river rafting with rubber tubes a one hour to two hours activity. After lunch, begin return journey back to Kuala Lumpur. On the way back stop for a short visit and photography in an Orang Asli Village and then Bon Voyage - continue journey home.
What to bring: Raincoat, warm clothing, windbreaker, a bottle of drinking water, hat, gloves, extra thick socks, good torch light, toiletries, towel and other items of personal use. Use good trekking shoes, tennis or gym shoes are fine, plastic bags to keep wet items, take some high energy food (chocolate, nuts, raisins, glucose sweets), headache tablets, paper tissues, some plasters for cuts or blisters.
